Came home from work to this probably stolen and ransacked abandoned van in front of my house. Location is 18th and Elmgrove.
It’s been reported to police but is still there as of moments ago.
That’s our work van that was stolen yesterday in west Seattle. Do you know if the van is still there?
… They say it disappeared overnight. They had long since reported it to police, so perhaps they came,discovered it was stolen, and impounded it? They would normally notify the registered owner, though.
This evening I saw a similar van parked in an odd spot on California Ave SW and SW 98th St. The rear license plate had one of those dark covers so you could not make out the plate unless you stop & get up close to it. You can’t miss the van at that intersection if it remains there. There was a 2nd car there, a small black SUV, Rav4?, also parked at the intersection where there are large painted hatch marks on the corner curve…..I wondered if that had broke down there since it is not really a parking area.
