Video: Fitness Together creates ‘The Lincoln Park Workout’

Another beautiful evening. And more to come. Going to the park? Thinking about a way? Take it one step further. Or maybe 100 steps further. Longtime WSB sponsor Fitness Together (headquartered in The Junction) came up with “The Lincoln Park Workout” and put it on video, as one way to enjoy the entirety of West Seattle’s biggest park, while getting a sizable amount of exercise. (You can break it down into components, too, if you just want to do part of it.)

Good job, anything to get people moving but she didn’t include all the pull-up stations and dip bars that were installed in the park for that purpose. A fun sprint is to start at north beach trail and end at the top of the thistle street stairs.

I haven’t seen those pull-up stations in years. Maybe I have been just overlooking them, but I assumed they were long ago removed or covered by overgrowth.

2 locations of pull up bars-Top of the north beach trail stairs then 25′ south (not the path to the bald eagle nest but the path with stairs) and the other is 100’west of the horse shoe pits you will see two parallel bars then 50′ north on that trail there is a station with rings and bars. All in good repair.

Sorry, comment time is over.
