Electronics to get rid of? Free recycling (& shredding) tomorrow

There’s still time to get down to the basement – or wherever – tonight, and round up your no-longer-needed electronics for tomorrow’s free recycling event in The Junction. Free shredding, too. 10 am-1 pm in the parking lot behind the east side of the 4500 block of California SW – access via 42nd SW between Oregon and Alaska. (The event flyer’s here.)

great! popped out the hard drive and have the rest ready to drop off. crazy how replacing any part or drive of the computer costs more than a new one. and all the accessories poop out at the same time.

If it costs more to replace a hard drive than buy a new computer, the person replacing your hard drive is ripping you off.

I keep the hard drive after the blue screen of death appears. Takes up a lot less room than keeping the old system and hoping for a miracle healing. Does anyone repair computers for less than $300 bucks? Or should I say, successfully repair computers.

if it’s not here on your front page, depending how busy the day/how much time to search through the schedule page, I likely will not see it

usually to their “blog” at http://wsjunction.org or their FB page. We announce some things to the main page, some to FB, some just to the calendar, there’s so much going on at any one time …

They’re no longer taking tvs or electronics. Raced from a mtg to get there by 1…

I looked for the truck but couldn’t find it on the 29th so went to the truck in the parking lot across from the Uptown and they took it. Noticed some other electronics in the truck so others must have ended up doing the same.

Sorry, comment time is over.
