Maximus Minimus catered my wedding this summer and it is fantastic and we ate at Andrae’s Kitchen while in Walla Walla on our wine tasting honeymoon and the burgers are really good! Also, I eat at Pai’s almost once a week, kalua pork = YUM.

This is going to be a blast!

Will there be tables set up so people can sit down and eat their food?

No Blue Truck Special or Beloved Mexico? Too bad. Plenty of new flavors to sample. I love that they are in West Seattle this year.

and, in the fine tradition of Seattle farmer’s markets, prices will be increased for this special event.

    Just because.

Mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I support food trucks and have already started to think about which of these trucks is going to be providing my dinner that Sunday.

On the other hand, I also support our local storefront restaurants. If I owned or worked in one of the restaurants in the junction I think I would wonder why the community is hosting an event almost deliberately designed to take diners away from my establishment. I mean why even open your doors that Sunday afternoon?

Even if Beloved Mexico doesn’t come up to the junction, they’re only about a three minute walk away should someone decide not to wait in line at the others.

I hope the throw away containers will be recyclable or compostable and there will be bins for such waste. I will be bringing my own reusable container. Please consider doing the same!
