One high-school-football game tonight: Playing at Memorial Stadium downtown, West Seattle High School lost to Franklin, 28-12. (We tweeted the game live at @wsblive.)

ADDED: Game details and video, ahead:

From WSB co-publisher Patrick Sand, who covered the game at Memorial Stadium:

West Seattle High tried out a new offensive scheme tonight, but Franklin’s key picks during the second half gave the game to the Quakers, who won 28-12. Since the start of the season, West Seattle has relied on senior Nikko Pablo Emm to carry the ball for most of the game. That changed tonight when quarterback Issac Johnson came out throwing. He went 13 and 19 gaining 122 yards. One of his longer passes went to junior Brennan Newquist, who went in to score on this play:

The Wildcats’ other touchdown came when Johnson faked handing off the ball to Emm, who had a good night returning kickoffs, one for 39 yards and another for 28. He also had a 32-yard punt return.
