My wife and I just purchased our first house last January. It was poorly insulated so we got a few estimates to have some fairly extensive work done. Puget Sound Energy has a list of recommended insulation companies and HHL was one of them. Humberto and his staff were very professional and easy to work with. They answered emails and phone calls promptly. They were fairly priced and there weren’t any last minute surprises (the final bill matched their estimate to the penny). Humberto and his staff showed up on time, did the work quickly, and left no mess or trace of themselves during several days of work. We have a very tight crawlspace under the house (<18 inch clearance). Somehow, these guys managed to get under there with all of their gear and secure the insulation. Amazing work. I highly recommend them.

I Had HHL insulate my crawlspace last year after i had the carpet removed and the floors refinished. they did an excellent job and would recommend them to others. I figured that my heating fuel consumption would drop some, and sure enough, this winter i didn’t spend as much on oil.

B-Squared, maybe you need insulation in the attic too, or sometimes air escapes through the cracks of your home. Another great company is Revolution Green Power. They will come out to your house and do an energy audit and see where your home is leaking. Owners of Revolution Green Power are also from this area (Vashon). Give them a call: 206-380-7883. They partner with Seattle City Light and can give you a great deal.
