Under investigation by Seattle Police right now: First came the report of shots fired in the California SW/SW College vicinity (map). Then, the scanner report that officers found “multiple 40-caliber shell casings in the driveway on the south side of the Blockbuster.” We’re continuing to monitor this; so far NO report of anyone having been hit by those shots.
I heard a helicopter around 1AM last night, figured somebody must have been shot…. again.
He lives more than a few blocks west of there. Still no evidence anyone was actually hit … TR
I always miss the excitement…slept through the whole thing…just a couple of blocks away…
glad there were no people hurt..

Maybe it was all the hooligans at the chinese food place. We drove by there and there were some pretty scary characters hanging out there, funny hats and all. That’s why we stick to the area south of there.
I live just a block north of the Blockbuster and after I heard the shots I went outside with my finace and witnessed 2 teeneage boys running down the alley. They hopped into a red pt cruiser and sped off. I know they werent where they were supposed to be because they were parked in a parking lot that is generally vacant at night. About 2 minutes later the police arrived and we gave them our information as well as the cars info and license plate number.

from a spill over fight at the Admiral Pub….Very Scary
I heard it was from a guy playing pool at the Yen Wor. My friend who tends bar at the Admiral Pub said they had two guys arguing but it wasn’t them. All I know is there seems to be more violence in West Seattle as of late. A group of us were at the Alaska junction the other night and saw a fight that turned into an all out brawl. What is going on?
