West Seattle’s Most Famous Politician says shopping at farmers’ markets (like ours) fights global warming. (Especially if you take the bus to get there!)

    We happened to be down at the market while Mr. Mayor was speaking yesterday (went to the new SAM). He is right about purchasing local, but has bigger tasks at hand. Just one block from where he was speaking, several drug deals were taking place. Simply amazing to me. He turns his eye to this all the time. I appreciate his “greeness”, but cannot stand his aversion to the true issues in our city. Oh, and while we are speaking of global warming….how about a REAL mass transit system!!!!
