I know people/businesses often change….reputations get better, and unfortunately some get worse. Could you recommend where in West Seattle I can still get a mani/pedi without the “hit or miss” angst?
    Thank you.

Hi Biscoti: I think it depends on what you’re looking for to be honest. Juniper is a lovely salon. All the ladies who work there are utterly fabulous, but it’s pricey and gets booked pretty quickly, so you’d likely need to book online in advance. I’ve used Perfect Nails on a walk-in basis when I’ve just wanted a no fuss no muss manicure and it’s either hit or miss (but really cheap). My middle of the road is Angel Nails down on Harbor – great prices/service.

I just switched nail salons – I’m going to City Nails now, on California. I would call and make an appointment instead of just walking in. There seems to be some sort of protocol about that that I’m still figuring out. It’s affordable, and they do a GREAT job!

I like the ladies at Nail Time, but do find it to be inconsistent. I find the two desk guys at NK Nails to be rude and off-putting.

I luv London House in Burien on 1st Ave and 136th St. Appointment is best but they can get you in same day usually. Ask for Yen 206.244.3006

In addition to the awesome staff at Juniper, they are a natural nail bar. All their products are free of the smelly toxic chemicals used by most nail salons. Give them a try. ;)
