   I posted about this in the Twitter box. (we post many things there that don't get to home page level unless we start getting a lot of e-mail about it)
   There's a search for some guys who committed some kind of crime on 22nd SW, possibly on the county side, they were helping county with containment. Had bandannas over their face. Didn't catch the rest of the description.

   heard on 11 pm news that the bad guys in bandannas - 4 of them,i believe - carried sawed off shotguns and robbed 2 stores in area. has anybody heard anything else?

   Gas Depot in South Delridge and Lucky 7, per KOMO online story:

   Rather ironic that the South Delridge stickup would have been as the South Delridge/White Center Community Safety Coalition meeting was just breaking up (Patrick was there and it ended at about 8:25).

   That's why they were discussing helping King County with containment when I tuned in to all this after 10 pm - the 2nd robbery was Sheriff's Office jurisdiction, first one SPD. We'll see in the am if they have a surveillance photo or anything to share.

    I'm glad I wasn't online last night because I heard the helicopter too and wondered what was going on. It would have really freaked me out if I'd known there were guys out there with sawed off shotguns.

    Hub talked to one of the guys at the Gas Depot yesterday. He said that at their store it was just one guy with a bandanna over his face, and he handed over the $30 he had in the till. The lucky 7 guy came to their store to share stories, and told him that it was 4 guys at his store. Apparently, nobody was caught, and the bandannas were making the security camera tapes useless for identification.

    I offered to both KCSO and SPD that we'd run surveillance pix if they wanted to share. No takers. But maybe preceding post explains why. No arrests as of yesterday.
