Thanks to Diane for the photos and information: The Heavenly Wholesale/Leslie’s storefront in The Junction, east side of California SW south of Alaska, where Funky Jane’s was before moving to California/Oregon, opens this week, 10 am-6 pm Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11 am-5 pm Sundays. Here’s Jill, longtime Heavenly proprietor:

The former “Heavenly” storefront in The Triangle is the building where Greg Whittaker of Alki Kayak Tours recently announced they plan to open a storefront. Here’s Leslie, indeed the same Leslie who formerly operated Leslie’s Country Store in the California SW location that is now home to The Bohemian:

  1. ohhh dear that is sad to hear about All The Best Pets on Alki! They are a great shop for all sorts of lovely chews for your furry friends.

  2. However, those chews can also be found at Mud Bay, Next to Nature, Pet Pros, Pet Elements and Petco without even having to cross the bridge.

It is unfortunate that All the Best has to close, but there was a massive expansion a couple years ago in shops that cater to our pampered furry friends.

  3. ATBP has been so generous with assistance for pet adoptions – both FCAT and a greyhound rescue group on several occasions. It’s my understanding the the lack of foot traffic in the winter down there just makes it very tough. I see a lot of people come in, get a free dog treat, and keep walking. It would be great if everyone who’s benefited from that snack break could do a little shopping this last week to say thank you and send them off with a flurry of business. Just sayin’ :)
