  2. Jonny Durango: OUR FIRST “SHOW” as house band at the Bamboo Bar and Grill on ALKI! NO COVER!!!! Free show, great drinks, amazing food, good people! Jonny Durango (soon to have a band name) is Evan on piano/guitar/lead vocals, Parker Lundgren (from Queensryche!) on guitar, and Jevon Wussler on drums/percussion/vocals!
Come hang out for some good food, drinks, and music featuring originals and some dope covers!

  3. Loook somewhere else for a decent breakfast.
I recently ( January 2012) went to the Bamboo for breakfast with my family. The waitress came running in the door( late I would guess) and came over to our table still wearing her jacket to take our order. She was nice enough but literally looked like she had just gotten out of bed and ran to work, completely in shambles. It honestly was very odd. The people at the bar ( at 10am)we loud, rude and so busy taking shots they had no care for those in the restaurant. It felt much more like a bar then a restaraunt and not a place I would take kids. The food was just so so and honestly nothing to really even comment on. For the price 10+ a meal it was not worth it. I would much rather wait for 30 minutes at easy street where at least the staff is friendly and the food is hot. Lastly, we asked to have our bill divided between TWO of us with very straightforward instructions about how to split it. No surprise the late running rushy waitress who had just woken up did it completley backward. I have lived on Alki and am not a complainer, this place has just gone way down hill.

  4. It was recently sold, so that could explain the change in service and ambience and taste of food.
