Frank Coluccio e-mailed WSB late tonight with a hearty “GO GATORS!” — on behalf of the Holy Rosary 7th grade girls’ soccer team, which has made it to the Catholic Youth Organization championship game, after defeating St. Bernadette of Burien, 3-0. The Gators play Sacred Heart for the title at Bishop Blanchet, noon Saturday.

  1. Update.

The Gators play Sacred Heart of Mercer Island in the Championship game.

They did not meet in the regular season, but Sacred Heart was 6-1 and took second place. Holy Rosary was 5-2 and took third. St Bernadette ended up in first with a 6-0-1 record, but was shut out by the Gators in the Semi-final game last night.

  2. Just an FYI, Sacred Heart is not, “of Mercer Island,” it is on Clyde Hill near Bellevue Square. St. Monica’s is of Mercer Island.

    GO GATORS!!!!!!!

  3. That’s right!!

I ALWAYS confuse Sacred Heart, St. Louise and St. Monica locations.

Sacred Heart is on Clyde Hill
St. Louise is in the BCC area
St. Monica is on Mercer Island

I’ll get them right one of these days ;-)
