Our neighbors’ blue Amazon parrot escaped last night near the water tower on Barton and west of 35th Ave SW. His name is Billy, and he is very chatty. Please keep a lookout and call/text Victor at 206.734.9122 if you see him.
Hi Victor. I had my parrot get out a couple of times years ago. You might give this a try, this is how I got mine back. I put out the cage with fruit on top, called for it. It was high up in a tall tree talking away (have African Grey parrot). Came back once it saw it’s cage. Or if you have some other perch stand that it can recognize in open area to see. I hope you get Billy back soon. I’ll keep eye out definitely. But I’m a few miles north of you. I have never been to that park trail off of Barton, it seems like pretty wooded area.. like a parrot might gravitate to?? Mine didn’t go but a couple of blocks..if that helps. Praying you find him soon.

UPDATE: Billy was briefly seen today near his home and then flew westbound in the direction of Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal. Please keep a lookout!
He flew into our yard! Heβs here with us on 97th and 35th Street. We left you a message on your phone.
Brett, You have him in your house? I hope so. Such a relief. I’ve been looking everyday; so worried for Billy. I am was just helping out as I am a fellow parrot owner. Victor will be so happy to have him back home and Billy is probably exhausted, dehydrated, and hungry. So glad to here the good news. Thank you.
Adrianne, Did Victor and Billy get reunited? I left Victor a couple of messages, but haven’t heard back yet; maybe he is working. If so, how is Billy? I hope well and glad to be home after his long adventure. What a relief for both of them.ππ¦
