West Seattle, Washington
01 Friday
Her name is Jessie and she is an afraid dog who ran off yesterday after hearing a fire cracker. She needs to make it back safe. Last seen on Genesee and Avalon St wearing a black bandana with clovers on it. (phone #’s removed now that she’s found)
ADDED TUESDAY 10/23: Jessie was seen yesterday (10/22 at 3:00pm) around All-Star Fitness. She was bumped by a car and then took off and was spotted by another person running up Admiral Hill towards North Admiral. She was then seen this morning (10/23 at 8am) running back down Admiral Hill towards Luna Park. She is obviously running scared and could be anywhere, but is hopefully heading back to where she was originally lost, 30th and Genesee. Please keep your eyes out for her and call the numbers listed with any sightings. She is in shock so will have to set up traps to get her, so it is so important that we hear about any sightings immediately
ADDED WEDNESDAY 10/31: Looks like the newest found dog on the page is Jessie – reunion in the works, we’re told!
I live in Bothell I hope you find her fast. What area is she lost in. I understand dogs who are scared of stuff. I will Keep a look out for her.
I’m so sorry to hear about Jessie. We have an equally skittish Border Collie, so I can’t even imagine how hard it must be. I wanted to pass along Vivian Dahlin’s information from Operation Dog Rescue. She is fantastic and would be the first person I’d contact if our baby went missing.

I will email her phone number and email address to the Craiglist posting.
I am 95% sure I just saw your dog running uphill (in the down hill lanes) eastbound on Admiral Way at 3:20pm. It looked like the one in the picture and had bandana around the neck, although I couldn’t identify clovers as I was four lanes over.
Here is a link to where I spotted her at 3:20pm.

Jessie was last seen 15 minutes ago (3:40pm on Oct. 22) running down Admiral towards Metropolitan Market. Keep your eyes open and let us know if you see her please!
I am just checking to see if poor Jessie has been returned to his home? I couldn’t imagine my dog being out there in the cold, I have been keeping my eyes open for him. I hope he makes it home soon..
I’m not Jessie’s owner but have been helping her find Jessie. No, Jessie is still on the run. She was last seen yesterday afternoon in the Admiral District running up Admiral Hill towards Metropolitan Market. We hope she stays in the area. Please contact the numbers above if you have any sightings of poor Jessie and be sure to spread the word! Thanks!
It’s a good idea to put these phone numbers in your phone in case she’s spotted so you can call asap. Will keep my eyes peeled for this sweet girl and hope that she is returned soon.

Might be a good time to get Missing Pet Partnership involved (missingpetpartnership.org)if you don’t mind spending a little money. She must be very hungry! I am keeping my eyes peeled for her-good luck!
Possible sighting at 13th and Barton. Is there anyone in the area that can confirm it?
The last certain sighting was Oct 25th.
Please keep a lookout for my girl Jessie; she is not familiar with West Seattle.
I have now returned home from being out of town and will be walking the areas where she has been seen.
Thanks.
Ann,
I just posted on Jessie’s thread.
Your girl is a survivor, likely has a background with this from my guess, and is sticking to a home-base. She’s going to be home soon from how many times I’ve worked with dogs like Jessie.
Stay positive, she’ll come home.It might take a bit of time, but she’ll be home. You being there no matter what is really important.

Please share Jessie’s web page.
Can we do a group search with as many people as possible on Saturday and Sunday? We could set a time and just take over the streets.
Kim
Kim, as a fellow dog lover I would be more than happy to join in your search party to help bring Jessie home. Please add me in with any updates. Or let me know if I can help in any other way. Angela.b.bare@gmail.com
Many, many thaks to everyone who was helping look for Jessie.
She appears to be fine, just tired. She is hanging very close to me.
I wish she could tell me her adventures.
She can! Through Joy Turner, Animal Communicator; @ 1(360)894-5000, joy@joyturner.com. That’s who Brooke called and talked with Jessie a few days ago. Jessie felt she was being ‘hunted down and chased’. She told her calm down and that you were back looking for her. You can book a phone session and have Jessie tell you everything! Joy is so gifted and amazing.. has helped out so many animals! Congrats to you and beloved Jessie.
Addendum Alert!: the Brooke I mentioned was the Brooke who had been involved with the Jessie chase for the past week and 1/2. She called Joy.. but AWESOME Brooke also, the young lady rescuer – you must be a dog whisperer to get that wet doggy’s trust. Both Brooke’s X2!!! Good effort!
