redblackParticipantjan: how can i be expected to pick my battles if i can’t even notice the context in which the battles are fought? hmm? :)
it’s like someone stuffed a too-big helmet on my head, gave me a wooden sword, spun me around 37 times, then pushed me onto the battlefield.
i’ll just shut up now.

MargLMemberWell – at least they didn’t dredge up an old thread to post some ad about specialized deodorizing poop scooping gloves … and given that the topics of dog poop and planting strips come up regularly, just shows it’s timeless ;-)

tom kelleyParticipantI really admire what some folks have done with their parking strips. I wish the people who landscape adjacent to intersections would be conscious of the height of their foliage. Their are some intersections in Gatewood that are difficult to enter because of large shrubs that block the view of approaching traffic.

todd_ParticipantI’ve thought about starting a conversation related to this topic and saw these recent comments come up.. my concern is all of the trash in the “grass” when walking along California Ave.. I wish the responsible party would take ownership yesterday. There is so much crap, I can’t believe it. It would be one thing if it were a few butts and straws but it’s blocks and blocks of, leaves, weeds, broken glass, condoms.. you name it.
Who isn’t being held accountable for this upkeep? I know I dedicate a number of hours cleaning up other peoples trash on my corner lot :)
