grogParticipantIt’s been more than a decade since we’ve gone to a casino and the last couple of times we did it was in S. Lake Tahoe.
What casino(s) in the area to you like to go to?
We’re looking to play slots, maybe some cards and dice games as well AND have a decent meal.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions…
Peace

JanSParticipantDecent meal (food and beverage operations manager is a WS guy), nice place, clean, less smoke…Snoqualmie Casino.Yes, it’s a bit of a drive..but it’s tons better than , say, Muckleshoot. I have a friend who also swears by Tulalip, although I have never been.

gmabettyParticipantWe go to Snoqualmie, they have a bus pickup at Westwood. We’re there about 6 hrs. Could look it up on line and see what they offer. I haven’t been able to go since last May and they sent me a free buffet lunch ticket and $5 coupon for this month. We,re going Tuesday.

trickycooljParticipantBeen going to Lucky Eagle for YEARS. Since it opened actually, I think I was in 5th grade. My grandpa lives near it and they know him at the buffet, never seen an 80 year old man eat King Crab so fast! He also is great at wheeling and dealing the senior price for everyone with him, even me. Not sure about the gaming there since we’ve only ever gone for food. They might have a hotel now, Great Wolf Lodge is also close. A little ways off I-5 but easy to work in on a trip to PDX.

celeste17ParticipantWe like to go to Muckleshoot in Auburn. Several restaurants to choose from and a separate building if you want smoke free.

JTBParticipantSlots in WA tribal casinos only look like slots; they are in fact linked into what is called the Tribal Lottery which determines payouts. So if you’re expecting to find a game where some degree of saavy can improve your payout, like video poker, forget about it in this state.
Snoqualmie is nice because it’s new, but their games are not good for the player who wants to lose as little as possible while earning some comps for meals. Their blackjack has awful playing conditions and their craps only offers 3-4-5 X odds while others in the state offer 5 and 10 X.
Silver Reef has the very good playing conditions for blackjack and has nice clientele–pleasant retirees and Canadians. They also have 10 X odds on craps. Clearwater has a decent 6D blackjack game and 5X odds on craps.
Angel of the Winds has a fair 6D blackjack game and 5X odds for craps. Avoid their DD blackjack.
I haven’t made it to La Center, but New Phoenix and Last Frontier have the best blackjack playing conditions in the state.
I don’t know anything about the players clubs at these casinos or how generous they are with comps. My suspicion is they are tight if you’re not a high roller.
