WSBKeymasterWest Seattle Kids is a kids-only salon in Morgan Junction, California a couple blocks south of Fauntleroy. Different ownership than all the years we took our guy there (he got his first haircut there at age 2 1/2; he’s 12 now and goes with us to Illusions, which predates their sponsorship!), but it’s still kids-only — TR

WSMomParticipantI made that same mistake when my son was two (thinking I could cut his hair myself, what a disaster!) Supercuts at Jefferson Square came to the rescue!!

grrltraveler2007MemberWe tried West Seattle Kids but $20 for a 5 minute haircut wasn’t really our idea of affordable. My hubby goes to a girl over on 9th (single store front, her name is Mai) and we took our 18 month old there. She did a great cut for $7 and was a heck of a lot friendlier. :) It’s on 9th Ave, somewhere between Thistle and Cloverdale (I think) on the west side of the street. Since there’s a lot of residential there, you should be able to find it since it sticks out as a business. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of the salon.

spookbrianMemberwest seattle kids were awesome! They were able to take us in as a walk in and within 15 min. his hair was fixed and cute! Mad props to west seattle kids (even if it was $20.)

celeste17ParticipantMy friend works at ETC hair on California Ave SW and I am not sure if she does kids. I am sure she does since she has a ton of niece and nephews. its about a half block past WS Nursery her name is Roseanne.

JPParticipantClassic Barber in the junction. He’s a great guy and has grandkids, so he knows how to handle the little ones, and they love him.
