The only way to help the Syrian refugees, is for the entire world to stop the fighting in Syria. The U.S., Europe, the UN, need to come up with a plan and do it. It has been going on for 4 years. Enough is enough.

A man went for a walk by the river. He came upon quite a scene. Babies were floating down the river. Many people were wading into the river to pull the babies out. He took in the situation and started to run up stream. “Where are you going” the people cried, “we need your help pulling the babies from the river!” The man yelled back as he headed upstream: “I am going up river to find out how the babies are getting into the river and stop it at the source!”

The river is Europe. The people pulling babies out are the governments of Europe. Syria is where the babies are entering the river upstream. We have to stop the babies from entering the river.

I am an old hippie peacenik from way back. And sometimes, unfortunately, we must use force to stop a evil regime. The war in Syria is already hard on children. The ISIS group has kidnapped hundreds of adolescent girls and are using them as sex slaves. The world needs to put a stop to this horror. Asking, pretty please, is not going to do it.

yes, of course it needs to be stopped at the source. Be that as it may, the reality today is that there are refugees from Syria, and they have nothing. I certainly hope that your opinion doesn’t stop you from helping the refugees that already exist.

    Thanks for reading and opining.
