WSU03MemberI am having a baby in March and instead of going out and buying all new stuff (crib, stroller, changing table, etc.), I thought I would check here first to see if anyone has anything they’d like to sell. Looking for gently used(or new) items in good condition. Please respond to this post if you have anything. Thank you!

amykarlineParticipantI have a pottery barn changing table that I’m looking to re-home.

It’s just the changing table – no baskets or pad.
In nice condition, just a couple nicks and scratches from normal wear and tear.
I was going to list it on Craigslist for $60.

carterbioseaMemberHi there,
I don’t have much now, but will have some items later on, once my kidlet grows out of them. A good resource locally is Again and A Gain, a consignment store on California just south of the Junction, and the Bellevue group eMOMs has a huge sale on Oct.11th that’s really worth checking out. Hope you’re feeling well!

JanSParticipantwsu…also check on http://www.freecycleseattle.com. I’ve noticed a lot of baby furniture going through there lately, strollers, too. And it’s all free…you just have to join the group, and ask for pictures if there’s something that sounds good…:)

WSU03MemberThank you all for your great ideas! I will look into all of those websites and local stores. We are just starting to get things together and it is a bit overwhelming!

pamMemberWell, I see someone left a double stroller and baby genie that both look like they are in good condition at the corner of Garlough and Hanford with a ‘free’ sign. (when did leaving your junk – no matter what the condition – become stylish to leave on a sidewalk????)

PDHParticipantI have a beautiful light maple cradle, barely used. Has mattress, bumper, matching quilt. I have photos that I could send to you if interested. Our youngest will be out of his crib by early Spring. It matches the cradle and has a drawer under for storage. Would make you a great deal on that. Have a peg prego stroller that has all attachments (bonnet, wrap around bumper) that we won’t need by Spring. By the time you need a high chair, I would also have a peg prego high chair that we wouldn’t be needing. Let me know if you have any interest and we can figure out logistics, etc. Congrats on your upcoming bundle of joy!

WSU03MemberPDH, Thank you! I actually have a crib now and it is white, so I was hoping to keep the rest of the furniture matching that. If you have pictures of the stroller, I would love to see that. Peg Prego makes great stuff!! You can email me at kayciebrown52 at gmail.com Thank you!

WSU03MemberAmyK, Thanks for the offer on the changing table. I actually found one to match the crib in white. I appreciate the offer though!

IrukandjiParticipantI was going to offer my breast pump, but with PETA’s new efforts I think I’ll hang onto it. This may be the way for me to earn a little extra money from home!
