    Okay…We live down by Fauntleroy Ferry…last nite between 9 – 10pm, I went out on my porch for a smoke….we face southwest…I saw a bright red squarish, ball and immediately deducded that it was NOT the moon…NOT a plane or star…it just hung there…I called my hubby…he came out and saw the same thing…then we watched it slowly fade. Did anyone else see it? No alcohol was involved. :)

    Mike…it just hung there….blazingly red….not a lantern because after hanging there (least 3mins) …it slowly went STRAIGHT up. It also was way up there. Wish I knew more about lanterns.

    Weird.

    I can’t think of anything else it could be, then, so maybe a UFO, indeed.

    Fireworks AND lanterns? One is already illegal, the other should be. We are still in a drought. There’s just no end to stupid, is there?
