TSA lines at SeaTac

How have the TSA lines been at SeaTac the past couple weeks? I know they were really bad several weeks ago, and am hoping they’ve improved. We have a flight next week and I’m trying to figure out when to arrive. It’s a 6:30AM flight on Saturday.

I noticed no issues Tuesday at 8am at either regular or TSA pre-screen security lines. We are flying again next week and will get there 90 minutes prior. I have not adjusted my arrival times for 4-5 trips in the past few months, but I use pre-check, so others may have had different experiences.

Too late for this trip, but the $85 I spent for TSA Pre was the best money ever spent.

No stress, no lines, no worry.

Depends on how much you travel I suppose, but it was almost worth it after just the first use!

How much is your time worth?

I don’t travel often enough to get the precheck. I don’t mind getting there early as long as I know I won’t have a problem if I arrive 1.5 – 2 hours before my flight leaves.
