hammerheadParticipantI just want to give a shout out to Lisa and her son Connor. One of the only people who stepped up to help with the massive amount of kittens I have. A new rescue person and I have TRN’D about 160 adult cats from Aberdeen in 2 wks. On top of that I have about 30 or so kittens at our house. (some from Aberdeen). Not to mention the ones in foster care. Some of the kittens I have will be at the All the Best Pet on June 27,2009 11-4 or. I will also have kittens at the West Seattle Street fair. Thanks to the Forsythe for the space.
Thanks again for your support and more importantly understanding LOL.

justcuzMemberIt’s absolutely our pleasure! The sheer volume and what you are able to accomplish is unbelievable. The biggest revelation for us so far is that, ultimately, humans have let these great animals down. It feels good to be able to help them.
For anyone out there in WSB-land, if you can find a place in your heart to adopt, please, please do. The amazing F.C.A.T., and the groups she works with, is making a real difference. Some pretty spectacular feline family members come out of their compassionate efforts and go up for adoption. If we could take them all home ourselves, we would.
I remember when I was a kid (not THAT long ago!), even if you had your pet fixed, it was common to “allow” a litter first. The days of wanting to “experience the miracle of life” through our pets should be out the window. There are wayyyy too many kittens coming into this world as it is. The true miracle is that loving, adoptable cats of all ages come from some pretty rough situations. Amazing :)

charlabobParticipantWe are owned by one of FCAT’s rescues (Noam Katsky) and he is a great cat! I think he was an adolescent cat when she found him, so he was probably a little harder to placate — but we’re so glad someone took the time to do it. (The only sign of his blighted childhood is that he sometimes tries to nurse from his brother, spot katsky — who’s about half his size.)
Please, if you have room in your heart and your house, adopt (at least) two kittens. OK, maybe just one?? They really do like each other’s company and that way someone will know their real names. :-)
