Mr. David Preston
XXXX XXth Ave SW
Seattle, WA 98106
Dear Mr. Preston:
Thank you for your recent telephone call of February 12, 2013, explaining you purchased a 59 ounce container of our Florida’s Natural Brand Orange Strawberry Juice, dated March 19, 2013, that was bitter.
It is apparent the product received extreme temperature abuse along the line of distribution, after having been shipped from our temperature-controlled warehouse. Off-flavor is indicative of temperature abuse.
Although every effort is exerted to control storage and handling of our products, unfortunately, complete control is not possible.
We are very sorry you experienced a problem and are enclosing two coupons for our Florida’s Natural Brand “Not From Concentrate” products, as a token of our concern for your inconvenience.
We welcome this opportunity to thank you for your purchases of our Florida’s Natural Brand products.
Very truly yours,
Bonnie Hunter

DBPMemberCute Thriftway Clerk: Free orange juice, huh? Sounds like a sweet deal.
DBP: Oh yeah. Lissen, it pays to complain.
Clerk: Really!? That hasn’t been my experience.
DBP: You’re prolly not doin’ it right, then.
Clerk: Oh yeah?
DBP: Sure. But it’s like anything else, ya know? There’s an art to it. Let me know if you ever want a lesson . . .
Clerk: […]
DBP: Well . . . I guess I’ll see ya around, huh?
Clerk: Oh, no! Hey! Wait a minute! Wait. Don’t run off like that. Come back here a second . . .
DBP: Yeah . . . ?
Clerk: You’re still a dollar short.

JKBParticipantyeah… I was just going to post about buying shirts. You know how they’re full of pins? Well, I missed one and scratched the hell out of my forehead pulling it on.
I complained, and the lady at the cashier sympathized. But she still charged me for the shirt.

DBPMemberJKB: Did you develop a debilitating infection from the wound by any chance? It might not be too late . . .
