Stylist for short hair

I like my hair short but I’ve had the same cut for the last several years. I am ready to try something new. My current stylist’s ideas are pretty much in the realm of “let’s make it shorter” and “how about some color”.

Could I get some recommendations on stylists that are imaginative and can create a new (or at least newer) look for me? I prefer to stay in West Seattle if possible.

Cathleen Carlin, Carlin Hair Design. 206-295-2925. I have short hair and was desperately in need of something new. She totally revived my color and gave me a great new cut. I can’t recommend her enough!

Hey, I’m interested in this too. My current stylist has been doing less of a good job with my cuts lately, plus she only works in her salon’s Belltown location on Saturdays — the rest of the time she’s on the far side of Cap Hill. I’d love to find a good stylist for short hair who is a little closer to home.

For the “I want something completely different” cut I went to Ola Salon over by Cafe Revo. I don’t remember the stylist, one of the girls on the low-end of the scale, but I really felt like I was listened to and given some good ideas.

For the “I have short hair” and just wanna maintain it I go to Budget Cuts.
