I love Seattle and have tons of city pride but, I just don’t like football… Absolutely NO disrespect for the thousands of you who will be cheering on the Seahawks today. Seriously, I hope you have an amazing time and I hope we win.

However, does anyone know of a place in WS (restaurant/bar) where a person could go to get away from the craziness? Are there any old-fashioned spots that don’t even have TVs?

Three Cheers for W5! We enjoyed drinks/snacks there last night! No TV but about 80% of the patrons there last night were dripping with blue & green adornments ;) You shouldn’t have to worry about that today though! I’m sure they’ll all be @ the game or glued to a TV!

West City Kitchen (former Bohemian) does not have a TV but has good food, cocktails, and wine. Great burger too!

JaK’s has a TV in the bar.

StringCheese; just wanted to say you’re not alone. I’m not at all interested in football, and I appreciate being able to dine out without hearing people screaming in the bar. Thanks to all for the suggestions!

Forgot to mention Cassis on Alki. More great food, wine, and cocktails sans TV.
