Hello! We are looking for a special house cleaner once a month. We prefer to use a local, indie business to support our West Seattle community. Especially as our experience with ‘chains’ has been lackluster.
This is a little bit of an oddball job. I have arthritis and my wife has MS. We can do the basics but the getting up and down and around to reach certain things, and really scrubbing stuff like the tub, etc. are hard on us.
So we are wanting someone to come in just once a month to do our medium bathroom, small half bath, and large kitchen (including fridge and stove and floors). No vacuuming, no dusting, nothing in the bedrooms, halls, or living room, we do those fine on our own.
House cleaner would need to be licensed, bonded, and insured and be able to arrive at specific times scheduled (not give us a three hour window and then show up an hour later than that!).
We have a $100 a month budgeted for this task, which is the amount Molly Maids charged us the two times we used them for this before deciding we’d rather go with a West Seattle provider.
