    I am selling my 1973 BMW 2002 and 1969 BMW 1602

I bought the 2002 to restore. It is in great restorable shape.

The car has been repainted and with the exception of the trunk floor is pretty sound.

    The 2002 needs

    A trunk bottom

A new or rebuilt carburetor (currently it does not run because it needs this)

    A battery

Needs break booster replaced (everything in the brake system has been replaced except for this (there are 5,000 miles or less on the brakes-Approx $600 in new brake parts.) ).

Front wheel bearings have been replaced and there is a spare trunk lid in fair shape.

I bought the 1969 BMW for parts.

It has a rebuild engine (25,000-30,000 miles) with a lot of power. This car is not restorable, but has many parts that will work with the 2002.

Finding parts for old cars is expensive and can be difficult this is why it is great to have an extra car for parts only.

Looking to sell both cars together. And would like a buyer who sees the value in restoring the 2002 and taking good care of it.

Must be responsible for pick up and tow.

Asking for $3200 for both cars or best offer. (Have posted this ad in three other places)

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks

Have you considered joining a couple of the local car club forums/discussion boards? Your best bet might be the boards at http://www.bmwpugetsound.com/ or you could join the boards at http://www.psmini.org. Both sites have a for sale section. We have a lot of BMW lovers in PSMINI, and joining might be a good thing to do since you have such a pretty little car. Joining PSMINI is free, but you can also pay a membership fee and take advantages of things like discounts on repairs and parts, reduced entrance fee at our car show (coming up soon!) and coverage by our insurance at club events. If any other MINI owners are reading this (like you with the beautiful Silk Green and White Cooper) I encourage you to join PSMINI. From Plain Jane daily drivers (like mine) to high performance “S” type racing machines, all are welcome.
