BrassyMommaParticipantHello folks,
I am building a roster of West Seattle-based performance spaces for the project I’m working on. I know Kenyon Hall, HPIC, Youngstown, Twilight, C & P Coffeehouse are available and have utilized a few of them so far with success.
But, I’m looking for a stage-space (from black box to full-sized venue with or without bar service) that would be open to housing a literary and performance non-profit for a period of time – or even an empty storefront that wants temporary tenants until they have a permanent lease on their empty space.
I’m trying to keep it in the Junction area and it’s a bit of a pipe-dream…but this is a long-term project that fits the California Corridor rather well.
Thought I’d ask :)
Feel free to drop a note at: athena@unslam.org
Thanks!

inactiveMemberHey,
Since coffee to a tea just closed, ask their prop mgr.?
They use to have performances in there. It was always nice hanging in great comfy chairs with acoustic artists.
Also, i know you said WS, but i have to throw it out there – Meander’s in WC. She has been working on using her stage…
Or, how about hall at fauntleroy?

BrassyMommaParticipantGreat recommendations – wow, thanks especially for the Tea Space – I had just read they closed.
Awesome :) I really appreciate the help!

cjboffoliParticipantWhat about High Point Center? They have some great spaces over there for public use:

BrassyMommaParticipantYes – I’ve used them and they’re awesome, and will use them again. I’m looking for Junction/District closer locales to add.
Thanks! Good to see them recommended!
