Seasonal Part-Time Employment – Gelarto Italian Ice Cream

We are seeking responsible and mature individuals to join our Alki team. Successful applicants will be committed to working during our busy season, including nights, weekends and holidays: Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.

Food service experience is preferred but strong communication skills, multitasking abilities and reliability are essential. Gelarto is an independent, family-owned business with a strong owner presence, passion for high quality and a desire to maintain our hard-earned reputation for outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include operating Shopkeep POS system, serving gelato and espresso drinks, assisting with opening and closing tasks, light cleaning, dish-washing, stocking, communicating product information, and responding professionally to customer requests. Applicants must be able to meet the physical demands of standing for long hours as well as heavy use of hands, arms and shoulders to scoop gelato for several hours a day.

Summer Hours of Operation:

Sunday – Thursday: 12 to 9
Fridays & Saturdays: 12 to 10
