Yep the snowiest day of the year and my Rinnai is not working. It worked yesterday just fine. I have checked to ensure the vents are clear of snow and they are. Can you recommend a person or company to service this?
I’m finding it will be into the middle of next week before someone can come out. I can live without hot water for a few days – I am concerned about the pipes in the Rinnai freezing – does anyone know if this is a valid concern or are they insulated sufficiently to prevent freezing?
We love our Rinnai installed and serviced by Greenwood. It does occasionally (once a year) stop working and needs to be reset, so check your instruction manual. But if needed Greenwood is very responsive.
Thanks! I have an appt for Wednesday and around 4:00 I found that it was working again. This is the 1st time in nearly 15 years that has had an issue. It likely could need to be serviced, they can do that on Wednesday.
