Before Thursday ends, two coyote sightings within one hour of each other in separate West Seattle neighborhoods.

ARBOR HEIGHTS: Amanda sent that one just before 8:30 am, saying it was right outside Arbor Heights Swim and Tennis Club.

You can expect coyotes to be everywhere and anywhere these days.  I was just in Glendale, CA and there were coyotes strolling unconcerned down sidewalks,  lounging in yards, snooping around in our massive “gated”  apt complex full of kids and a zillion small dogs.  It was unsettling, to say the least, but they’re part of the ecosystem  now.

I saw a young coyote, could be the same one, around the corner of  SW 97th and 34 Ave SW yesterday at 8:30. It slipped into a neighbor’s backyard.

I thought I saw a coyote there yesterday evening but my brain went to thinking it was a big cat 😂

Our security cameras recorded one coming through our yard near Arbor Heights. It’s been over 10 years since we’ve seen or heard one by our house. Then, last night saw two crossing 35th near Hudson and entering the South parking lot of Providence Mount St Vincent. Guessing those were part of the pack living in Canp Long/West Seattle Golf Course?
