RAVE: Fresh Bistro

Last Friday my wife and I had a wonderful meal at Fresh Bistro. The drinks were great, the raw oyster and pecan crusted prawn appitizers were great and the main course was perfect, not to mention the service was spot on. My wife had the baked Halibut and I had a NY cut pork steak. They have struck a wonderful balance between serving some new things and still making sure the food and ambiance are welcoming. I highly recommend you try them. West Seattle is lucky to have such a great restaurant to call its own.

We had brunch at Fresh Bistro Sunday and noticed two things: the food, service, and atmosphere were exceptional (as they have always been.) AND FB was very crowded. People even had to wait to be seated. We were very pleased to see that — we always worry when our faves seem to be a bit empty — I’d much rather wait for my second mimosa (YUM!!!!) than get it right away because I’m the only one there. :-)

Fresh Bistro was part of a Local Foods dinner here in West Seattle I went to a few weeks back. It was such excellent food and I think they actually donated their services to the event.

I appreciate that they seem to want to be a real part of our community and not just a restuarant.
