Arts West presentation of Wendy Wasserstein’s final play “Third” is not to be missed. Superb acting by a stellar cast. Laurie, the award winning, name dropping, highly successful feminist college professor, at mid-life, accuses a student of plagiarism. A judgmental, liberal educator, quick to pigeon hole a bright, happy-with-life Midwestern athlete evolves as she begins to question her fears, obsessions and the beliefs she has preached since her youth. Aided in her journey is an excellent group of actors who help her realize the possibility that her beliefs may be wrong. Short scenes keep the play moving. The play leaves you thinking!
