Rant: Subject for the Next Forum Fundaiser — Exxon-Mobil

OK, kids, Exxon-Mobil is in trouble. Their income, last quarter, only “a disappointing” 17 percent. Perhaps we could put together a bowling tournament and raise a few hundred dollars to cheer ’em up.

This article in the NYT, is short, ugly, and pathetic — it sounds like an unedited version of the cover letter for their quarterly report to investors.

You’ll particularly enjoy the fact that they haven’t been able to pass all the cost of oil and its production on to the consumer.
