That’s a terrible area for pedestrians, especially the T of edmunds and 44th. Drivers care about nothing.

That’s exactly where we were! We had the right of way, we were just walking across the street to our car and almost got slammed by this guy who kept yelling at us we were killing ourselves. Once in our car we drove past True Value and say his car parked out front by the stop sign.

Ironically I was hit by a van 22 years ago Dec. 1st so I saw history repeating itself yesterday. That time was in Bellevue by a woman who was so intent on getting to Toys R Us she drove her van into me as I was walking across the street to my car. I ended up on crutches for 4 months, on too many drugs to name and was lucky I didn’t break my pelvis and knee caps, but I did tear all the ligaments of both my legs and fratured my collar bone.

People, please watch for pedestrians!

I feel like this is the third time I've read something on here about a crazy sounding man in a white car trying to run people down — previously it was bicyclists. Same guy? All of this related??

That's what I was thinking when I first read this the other day, CrazyDogLady.

I believe the car in the bicycle incident was a white Toyota Camry.

Will have to do a search for that thread.
