Last week, the Morgan Community Association was notified that a request made in 2007 to improve pedestrian safety along California had been funded through the Bridging the Gap program. If you go to the second page of this PDF link,

California at Frontenac – Replace the curb on the southwest corner and add truncated domes to existing curb ramps. Replace the “Push Button” signs (SDOT will do in 2010). SDOT will also add pedestrian countdown signals in 2012 (no funding needed for this improvement).
Since the information about this project came in after the MoCA May meeting, it will be on the agenda for the July 21 meeting.
