    Have you heard about this?

I’m not going to get into the ethics of doing pet euthanasia at home and posting a video of it on the Internet. If you asked me, I would say that blasting a hamster with a .357 is a waste of good ammo, but that’s neither here nor there. What interests me is how animals themselves look at death.

Rodents and cetaceans seem to accept their fate passively, while dogs (boobs that they are) seem to welcome it, as if they hadn’t an existential thought in their heads.

    But cats . . . ah cats . . .

Always the little drama queens, aren’t they ? Right to the bitter end.

Apparently even our pets know how bizarre humans can be.

I was very concerned reading the title and even clicking on the link. But now I have a new trick for the cats. My dog always adds to hers, sometimes she barks at the “gun” or she will lay down and crawl before “dying.”
