We miss Pegasus but hesitate to return until we have assurance that they have done right by their previous employees. The last post about Pegasus Pizza returning in the Junction was full of stuff about that didn’t answer this one question, and I’m not finding it anywhere.

Pegasus had _our_ favorite pizza. I know that everybody has their personal favorite pizza and their own opinions, including missing Lee’s Asian. *This question is not about any of that.* We want to go back and simply won’t until we have assurance that they corrected their past practices. That’s all I’m looking for here.

Does anybody know if the previously unpaid employees were made whole? We’re willing to return in that case. We’re not into permanently canceling anybody for screwing up in the past, short of grievous bodily harm. I’m interested in factual evidence of the status of complaints against Pegasus Pizza for non-payment of employees.

    Many thanks!

If it’s that important to you why don’t you call and ask? Much more productive than holding on to private grievances.

Did you see this thread? — https://westseattleblog.com/2024/04/biznote-return-of-pegasus-pizza/. Same owners so their integrity will likely be unchanged. They paid their back rent and as a result were able to reestablish in their new location. I personally know former employees who would never work for them again. The comments in the WSB are illuminating, and reviews for their new location are quite mixed. I used to love their Tom’s Special but after hearing that they gave their employees checks that bounced I stopped going.

As an alternative I’ve become a major fan of Antico Soprano’s Pizza and Pasta, across from the Admiral Theater (https://www.anticosopranos.com/). Their pizzas are consistently excellent. Delivery charge is only $5. It’s become a weekly indulgence. Highly recommend.
