M_JonesParticipantHi, my name is Madeline. I am reaching out in hopes of learning more about this opportunity. I have a lot of real life experience (outside of work, that is) with caregiving assistance and companionship. I am a young adult capable of easily following housekeeping instructions. If this position is still available, please contact me with any further requirements and questions. I apologize for any lack of professionalism, as this is my first time applying to a job through this blog site. Hope you’re well!

steffizincParticipantHey, if you ever thought about sending your mother to the special living place instead? I am just trying to be realistic. No offense. I mean, I know that if dementia is light is no danger(i got the same situation last year with my mother, but if the situation gets worse, you will need to hire a specialist for a longer period, so in this case, I can suggest you search for a decent living place in your area. If you decide to choose this option, I would suggest you visit this site seniorsite.org where you can find detailed reviews about living properties in the California area.

SJWellnessParticipantHello, I wanted to respond to your request for help regarding the female senior needing care. I have over 15 years of experience working with seniors in/out of their home. I recently cared for my mother who suffered a stroke in December and was with her 24/7 for 5 months while she was recovering, (thank goodness she did)!
I am available any day of the week and can work a set schedule or be flexible. I prefer not to work in the evenings however.
I drive but I don’t own a car currently, as I can walk wherever I need to go or take public transportaion due to my location.
I would love the opportunity to meet if the position is still open and we can all see if I would be a good fit!
Thank you for your consideration,
Alicia
