One last pitch for tonight’s Movie on the Wall- and raffle item

It’s been up atop the sidebar but since this is the one movie WSB is personally sponsoring this summer I thought we’d make another pitch. Dusk tonight, courtyard next to Hotwire, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” following another NFFTY (something like national film festival for talented youth) short. Bring nonperishable food for the West Seattle Food Bank, which also gets the proceeds of the concessions that West Seattle Christian Church presents (low prices like $1/water or pop, candy and popcorn also available), plus every sponsor gets to pick a nonprofit for a benefit raffle, and ours is the Nature Consortium – one raffle item is “a big bag of West Seattle” with contents including a cool roll-up shopping bag from Click! Design That Fits (tonight’s co-sponsor), a West Seattle Bowl t-shirt and coupon for an hour of free bowling for up to six people (if you call in advance), posters for the Water Taxi and West Seattle Murals, and other surprises. The movie will probably start about 8:45; the three of us hope to see you there!
