medicinal plant walk for PNW climate week , 10 AM
About the event: It is PNW Climate week and there are hundreds of events across the region to inspire, brainstorm and connect over climate action. Come gather in community while meeting some common pnw plants and learning their medicinal uses and what they can teach us. You’ll learn to ID plants by using all your senses, ethnobotany practices, medicinal uses of plants and what plants have to teach us. The walk will be a slow walk through the woods, expect 1-1.5 miles of walking, but with frequent stops and observation time. The trail doesn’t have a lot of incline but isn’t even in places.
Meeting place:
We will meet at the bulletin board in parking lot 1 at Lincoln Park. The C line bus is a 4 minute walk away.
