On Site Maintenance Person

The Fauntleroy School House is a unique treasure in the Fauntleroy Neighborhood of West Seattle. At the turn of the 20th century, it was built as a Seattle Public School and stayed that way until the early 1980’s. It is now home to 20 local businesses.
We are looking for a live-in handy person/caretaker who will make this beautiful building their home. The perfect candidate for this position will be comfortable with duties that vary with the season, weather, and supporting events taking place both during the week and on weekends. They will have interest and some expertise in carpentry, plumbing, gardening, and building maintenance (cleaning gutters & flat roofs, changing light bulbs, locking/unlocking doors, setting up/breaking down for events.)
We really want you to fall in love with this lovely building and be the expert on the ins and outs of its unique layout. This position is based on 40-60hrs of work/month. It includes a 1bedroom apartment and a monthly stipend. As this is a unique opportunity, we welcome questions!

$800 per month
