We are a small family business based in South Park and are looking for a part-time on-call person to help with work we do for the moving industry. The job includes driving a company vehicle to people’s homes and performing services such as setting up or disconnecting washers, dryers, ice makers and televisions. Assembling or disassembling exercise equipment, pool tables, play structures and pianos. Crating or uncrating glass and marble tabletops, paintings, mirrors, (and many other high value items).
Must have drivers license, clean driving and able to pass criminal background check. Applicants should be self motivated and able to get to work early (7:30), handyman and or building skills are a definite plus. The ability to lift over 50 pounds regularly is necessary.
At present, the job is on-call as the moving industry has suffered a severe downturn, but this is the season for moving and this could easily turn into a full-time or overtime job. Currently we are doing 4-5 jobs a week. Range is from Bellingham to Centralia, Port Townsend to Wenatchee. Pay commensurate with experience. Benefits are possible after a 90 day probationary period.
