They were the local “new” book business I wanted to survive because they are in the Junction and clearly cared about books even with their small shop. I trusted the recommendations implicitly.

Do I buy at B&N? yes, about 30% of the time, because they have what I need Right Now. But getting a human to check you out, or answer a question at B&N? Nope.

I used to go to Elliott Bay in Pioneer Square and will need to make the pilgrimage to the new roost this fall/winter and see how it looks…

WSBKeymasterWe broke the (very sad) news yesterday morning.
Also the headline has been in the “biggest stories” list of top headlines (and I keep BIG stories like this up for at least a day and a half) ever since then … that list is atop the sidebar … always a good idea to look if you hear about something big and you haven’t seen it here. BonnieParticipantWell, sometimes I miss some of those main page stories. That’s a bummer. Their website just says that they are doing computer maintenance.
