LaurenBMemberCan anyone recommend a good west seattle-based massage therapist who accepts Regence insurance? Someone who can occasionally book appointments in the evening or weekends is preferred. Thanks so much!

squareeyesParticipantI really like M3 Bodyworks. They take Premera Blue Cross but I don’t know about Regence. They do both evening and weekend.

JanSParticipantSue Reed, LMP at 7910 29th SW (Canyon Echo Massage)is a Regence provider – 206-938-7764, as is Colleen Morrison , LMP @ 3272 Calif. Ave. SW, 206-930-5964. There aren’t a whole lot of Regence providers around West Seattle. If you call the Customer Service # on your insurance card they can give you a list of massage therapists in your zipcode. It’s online, too :) Unfortunately, that’s one of the two insurances that I don’t take, or I’d tell you to come see me. Remember, you can always do out-of-network, and send in your own paperwork to get reimbursed :)

m3bodyworksMemberUnfortunately, We at M3 Bodyworks Massage clinic do not take Regence. Regence is closed to accepting new Massage Therapists as providers.
We refer out to Sue Reed Above and Jessica Deshayes at Alki View Massage (206) 387 3944, but they both have wait times the last time we checked.
Jan – most of Regence policies do not have “out of network” benefits so it would be “out of pocket” for sure. It’s best the member calls the 800 number on the back of the card. Also on the website, you will see therapists listed but you have to pay attention to the Category “Category 3 – Non Participating Providers”
Good Luck….We do have a great cash discount on all our pre-paid massages and if you purchase before Father’s Day you can get 20% off on certain items. Averaging $56.00 per hour.

JanSParticipantthanks for that information, Mike. I know I don’t even bother with Regence, and it’s a shame because it’s difficult to get on their list, and difficult for those with Regence to be seen in a timely manner.

vanessahutchinsonMemberI went to Lynn Lord at Healing Massage Studio and she took my Regence. She was really good, too.
