shed22ParticipantLittle dude looking for a happy home. Not looking to be snake bait.
Frankendoodle is awesome. And healthy. And about 2 years old.
Want to add a little cozy furball to your home?
He comes with a new cage. 2 months worth of bedding, food, toys, and vitamin c supplement.
I will transport, if needed.

SonomaParticipantBump. Post a photo if you can! These guys are ultra-cute and a nice pet for a gentle, loving child (or adult).

dhgParticipantI had one or two as pets as a child. They are pretty smart beasties, will recognize footsteps and will whistle excitedly when they hear you coming. You have toys for this one? I’ve never heard of a guinea pig playing with toys.

shed22ParticipantSonoma, I am not quite sure I know how to post a pic. I will try to figure it out and post soon.
dhg, they sure are!! Franklin has a ball he likes to roll around, hide behind, and eat. He also likes to eat straw out of a hanging basket with a bell on it.
He is also very gentle and easy to handle.

shed22ParticipantMike, I understand. Maybe someone you know would like a little friend? He’s quite the snuggle bug!

wsmama3ParticipantI’ll ask at school – some classrooms have a pet. Might be a great wy to assure a lot of love! :)
September 30, 2012 at 5:40 am #772640
shed22Participantwsmama3, that would be wonderful! I have spoken with a teacher at Lafayette. He said they only keep frogs and other cold blooded critters. Something to do with temperature fluctuations in the building on weekends and holidays.

shed22ParticipantHelp. Please. I wish my little guy had a safe place to call home. Right now he is well cared for. I can not house him for much longer. If you are looking for a loving, wonderful little companion . . . please, PLEASE, consider Franklin.

SonomaParticipantHave you tried googling Rabbit Meadows? They might be able to help with your cutie. They “rescue” small critters like rabbits and guinea pigs. I realize Franklin doesn’t actually need rescuing – I know he is well-loved, but they might be able to help. Also see

Best case scenario: A loving home for Franklin. Good luck.

Talaki34Participantshed22,
If you call Rabbit Meadows and they can take your “Little Dude,” I can take the two of you to Lake City if you need transportation.

SonomaParticipantBump!

clough9360MemberWe would love to take in this little friend. Please email us at alki 929 at comcast dot net if still available. Thank you.
October 6, 2012 at 9:38 pm #772646
shed22Participantclough9360 you are going to fall in LOVE!! Sending an email now!
Sonoma and Talaki34, thank you for your support! I had considered Rabbit Meadows but wanted to exhaust all reasonable efforts before burdening a rescue center.
I really wish I could keep Franklin. He’s been a wonderful little friend.

SonomaParticipantYou’re very welcome, shed22 (and Franklin!). And thank you, clough, for providing a happy new home for the little dude.
