willemvMemberWe are a manufacturer of custom motorcycle fairings and related parts. This job opening primarily involves the assembly of motorcycle fairings according to customer work order. These fairings often include custom stereo options including different speakers, amplifiers, head units and satellite tuners. The assembler’s job is to install these components and others into the pre-made fairing part, bench-test the unit, clean, wrap and ship the completed final product. Additional work involves the building or prep of sub-assemblies. This includes building wiring harnesses, un-boxing and prepping stereo components, building custom shipping box components etc. On the job training is provided.
Requirements:
– aptitude with basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers etc.)
– attention to detail
– ability to work independently
– ability to build to custom work orders
– ability to lift up to 35lbs
– basic computer skills
– experience with or interest in mechanics, motorcycles and/or car audio equipment a plus!
We value precision over volume, quality over speed. Growth opportunities include installation of non-standard custom components, responsibility for ordering supplies and materials and working with related vendors, assistance with new product design, and potential for mechanical customization work on “shop bikes”.
This is a full time week-day position.
Compensation: $13-$15/hr DOE, plus medical benefits, sick and vacation time
