DBurnsParticipantHey we (Giannoni’s Pizzeria) just started selling pints of Full Tilt ice cream (yay!) and we were thinking that it would be great to add some homemade cookies to sell with them! Does anyone have any suggestions for local wholesale baking at a small level?

celeste17ParticipantCheck with Husky’s in the junction. They have cookies on the counter but I can’t remember who is their supplier.

WSBKeymasterCheck with Lora at Hotwire Coffee. Her pastry supplier is a local woman who bakes very nearby, on a fairly small scale so far as I know. (We know her but her business is so low-key I don’t even know if she’d want it mentioned publicly.)

DBurnsParticipantThanks so much for the leads! I spoke with Lora and she gave me the info. I will check with Jack at Husky too – sounds like we’ll have some cookies with our ice cream and pizza soon!!

DuneMemberhi!
I am the Owner Operator of The Dreaming Dane Catering Company. My catering/baking company is very small, just starting out and looking for local connections. Contact me and we’ll chat about cookies!!!

voodooMemberWait, wait, wait… I don’t mean to threadjack here, but I don’t want the best part of the original post to go unnoticed. They are selling pints of Full Tilt ice cream at Giannoni’s!!!!! That is at least 1/2 mile closer to me than FT in WC. This is cause for celebration.

JasperbluParticipantI’m with @voodoo … Full Tilt Ice Cream nearby! YAY!
As for baked goods, Heidi @ Bird on a Wire Espresso (Henderson and 35th) uses a local woman for HER baked goods too, and they are AMAZING.

Kim Mangan, the owner and baker, is a west Seattleite and is truly talented. Her cookies are truly some of the best you may ever taste.
Plus, she is just plain GOOD PEOPLE.
