Walked in Lincoln Park this morning, and happy to see many walkers and joggers, alone and in pairs, on the beach and bluff trails. No feeling of insecurity with all this company, and all smiling in the sunshine!

    Good to hear!

The Park is a beauty, indeed! One of my favorite things about it is how cool Colman Pool is – a priceless amenity in an incredible location. The fact that it is a saltwater pool just makes it over the top cool.

I’m due for a walk with the dog down there to check out the eagle’s. Mating season, ya’ know!

I used to have to go to swim practice at Coleman in the Summer in high school and had a love/hate relationship with Coleman. On the one had it was close to home and a nice view, on the other hand it was salt water (icky to swallow) and Olympic sized (less flip turns and more work). Lincoln Park is one of my favorites in Seattle (shout out for Schmitz park too).

My dad, he’ll be 85 this year, tells me he used to swim there before the ‘pool’ was built, so I guess it’s always been salt water. I remember some swim meets there, in the pool, when I was on the West Seattle Dolphins about age 10. Great memories.
